Sunday School Class for All Ages
Luther's Catechism
Every Sunday beginning in January we will start a class series going through Luther's Small Catechism. Each week we will cover one or several topics starting with the 10 Commandments, then proceeding to Luther's exposition on The Apostle's Creed. Finally we will finish up with The Lord's Prayer, Baptism, and the Lord's Supper. The class will be led by Pastor Lanier Nail. Please join us as we explore our Protestant heritage.
- Week 1 will focus on the occation and structure of Luther's Small Catechism. We will talk about how we can use it in our worship and in our homes.
- Week 2 we will get into the 10 Commandments. We will discuss the Lutheran view of 10 Commandments and cover the first 4 commandments.
- Week 3 We will cover Commandments 5 through 10.
- Week 4 We will discuss the first two sections of the Apostle's Creed.
More details will be released about the schedule as we get closer to the class dates. Please make an effort to come as we are uplifted by learning more about the catechism and ultimately God's Word.
